You can feel it in the air! Fall has settled in and Winter is around the corner. If you’re one of the unlucky ones whose mailbox gets attacked every year by the snow plow there are ways to protect them.
You can create what looks like a fortress, good luck to that plow now! Kits contain 6-inch wallstones, you build it 5-foot high and put the mailbox inside covered by a forged metal door. A solution that’s beautiful, practical and strong.
Another option is a granite mailbox post. The post itself is 6”x6” square and 7-foot tall, which gives you plenty of height to bury and secure it in concrete so it won’t get knocked over.
